Vogue Williams, who is in the midst of her fourth pregnancy, has shared her Hilph Foot Ice Pack Slippers on her LTK page, which cost £22.90 at Amazon. The slippers are designed to soothe sore, achy feet and reduce swelling, especially during the UK heatwave.
Design and Features
The ice packs are shaped like regular slippers and provide full coverage from toes to ankles, targeting the toes, instep, and arches. They feature a cooling gel lining and a machine-washable fabric. The gel stays flexible even after freezing, ensuring contact with every part of the foot. The stretchy fit keeps them snug, and they are suitable for use during pregnancy, after exercise, for plantar fasciitis, poor circulation, or post-surgery discomfort, as well as for hot feet in summer.
Sizing and Usage
The Hilph Foot Ice Pack Slippers are one size fits most, with extra large sizes and different colourways available. There is also an ice glove design for aching hands, arthritis, or joint pain. To use, simply chill them in the freezer, then put them on and relax. The brand advises not to walk or stand in them, and they can also be warmed for warming foot therapy.
Customer Reviews
Amazon shoppers have praised the slippers for their effectiveness. One reviewer said: “Great ice packs. Helped me get through the really hot weather, so glad i bought them, got some for hands and some for feet. Thank you seller.” Another wrote: “Useful for aching/hot feet. Nice cooling effect in this hot weather, Do NOT use for walking around in as stated, but good for chilling on the sofa. Good item, I have used these alot. They seem pretty sturdy and freeze quite quickly. They do melt quite quickly though if your feet are hot but they help with sore, aching feet and cool you down nicely. I have really small feet so they are quite a loose fit but all good. Good useful item. I would buy these again.”
However, some found drawbacks. One person said: “In the hot weather my feet get uncomfortably hot at night. Initially these are great but they warm up within 20/30 mins or and the cooling effect runs out. Prob just as well to freeze a damp pair of ankle socks and save yourself some £s.” Another added: “Don't stay frozen long enough.” But others loved them, with one writing: “These were brilliant following bunion surgery, really eased pain and swelling and were a big comfort. Really easy to pop in and out of freezer. Would also recommend them in a heatwave to cool down to sleep - very relaxing. I have size 8 feet and were a good fit.”
