Takis has introduced a new cinnamon-sugar flavoured tortilla snack called Churro Charge, expanding its range with a product designed to appeal to current snacking trends.
Aims and Consumer Trends
The launch is intended to broaden the brand's appeal by tapping into 'swalty' (sweet and salty) snacking, the growing popularity of cinnamon, and consumers' willingness to trade up for snacks.
Marketing and Availability
To support the launch, Takis is investing in social media, sampling, point-of-sale and seasonal merchandising. The campaign will encourage consumers to enjoy Churro Charge both hot and cold, paired with ice-cream, and for everyday snacking.
Marta Valles Sanchez, marketing director for Takis in Europe, said: "Churro Charge gives retailers something genuinely different to offer shoppers, combining strong consumer trends around cinnamon flavours and indulgence with a format that can drive incremental purchases throughout the season."
Takis Churro Charge will be available in 55g, 100g and 180g formats, with the 55g packs price-marked at £1.25.
