Suitsupply, the international menswear brand, will open a new store at the Trafford Centre next year, the shopping centre has announced. The store will showcase the brand's full range of tailoring and elevated casualwear, from suits, jackets, and outerwear to shoes and accessories, as well as the Custom-Made Program and on-demand alterations by in-house tailors.
Brand Expansion in the UK
Founded in Amsterdam in 2000, Suitsupply has grown into one of the world's leading premium menswear brands, operating more than 150 stores globally. It is known for its contemporary tailoring and made-to-measure services. The new Trafford Centre location will occupy 5,000 sq ft.
Edmund Spencer, Chief Global Environments Officer at Suitsupply, said: "We're excited to be opening our new location at the Trafford Centre in Manchester. We see excellent momentum for Suitsupply in the United Kingdom. We look forward to bringing our mix of ready-to-wear, custom tailoring, and expert service to the broader Manchester market."
Retail Additions at Trafford Centre
The announcement follows a series of new openings at Trafford Centre, including UNIQLO, Forbici, and Garage. Later this year, Ted Baker and The Entertainer will open new stores, while the Disney Store is set to make a comeback with a new setup inside Selfridges.
Today (August 13), it was confirmed that a new specialty café has opened inside the 'largest in the world' JD Sports store at the Trafford Centre. The café, named iced, opened earlier this week and features a menu spanning coffees, teas, matchas, shakes, and sweet treats. It is celebrating its opening by giving away free drinks this weekend.
Centre's Footfall and Brands
The Trafford Centre welcomes around 23 million visitors every year and boasts over 200 brands, including Selfridges, John Lewis, Zara, Next, and Marks & Spencer. It also features a 20-screen ODEON cinema.
Simon Layton, Centre Director at Trafford Centre, said: "As an internationally recognised premium retailer, Suitsupply will be a fantastic addition to our menswear offering, and we look forward to welcoming them to the centre soon."
