The appliance helps clothes dry faster on an indoor airer by drawing moisture out of the air, reducing the need for a tumble dryer or central heating. It also helps reduce condensation and damp caused by drying wet washing indoors, potentially lowering energy bills and preventing costly home problems.
Features and Running Costs
The compact model has a dedicated laundry mode that runs continuously at high speed. It comes with four castor wheels and two carry handles for easy movement between rooms. With a 440W power rating, the running cost is approximately 12p per hour, according to Sust-it's Energy Cost Calculator.
An intelligent humidity sensor monitors moisture levels, with readings displayed on an LED screen. The dehumidifier can also reduce musty smells and protect furniture, electronics, and clothing from damp damage.
