Shoppers rush to Home Bargains for new Dairy Milk PB&J bar

A limited-edition Cadbury Dairy Milk bar, inspired by the classic American peanut butter and jelly sandwich, has appeared on shelves at Home Bargains, prompting shoppers to rush to stores before the stock is gone.

The bar, officially produced by Cadbury Australia and manufactured at its facility in Tasmania, is an import that fans are eager to try. Social media comments show shoppers calling it "delicious" and saying they "need to try" it, with many heading to their nearest branch and waiting for restocks.

What is the Cadbury Dairy Milk PB&J bar?

Cadbury Dairy Milk PB&J is a special-edition 170g chocolate block that recreates the peanut butter and jelly sandwich in milk chocolate form. Instead of bread, the bar uses rich Dairy Milk chocolate, combining creamy chocolate with peanut-flavoured crème, crunchy peanut pieces, and raspberry-flavoured jelly.

The flavour has generated mixed reactions online. One Facebook commenter wrote: "It's a bit heavy on the jam for me, needs more peanut." Another said: "I didn't read the wrapper right. I thought it was peanut butter and jam, but nooooo. Peanuts and jam," though the bar does contain peanut cream as well as peanuts.

Shoppers compare prices and alternatives

Some shoppers noted the bar is also available at B&M, which regularly stocks Dairy Milk imports. Others pointed to supermarket alternatives, with one person writing: "Morrisons do their own chocolate, same as this, for £2," after complaints that the Dairy Milk version lacked a strong peanut butter flavour. Morrisons' version is also a limited edition, so its availability is uncertain.

Reactions remain divided, with some branding the taste "yucky" while others said they "needed" to get the bar "immediately." The limited-edition nature of the product means shoppers are acting quickly to secure it before shelves empty.
