Tu at Sainsbury's has launched a 15% off sale on all school uniforms for this weekend only, with prices starting from as little as £1.70 per item. The offer is available online and ends on Monday August 17, with the discount automatically applied at checkout.
Uniform essentials from £1.70
The sale covers shirts, jumpers, dresses, skirts and trousers, with sizes ranging from two years old up to 12 years old. Among the standout bargains is the 2 Pack of Unisex Royal Blue Sweatshirts, now priced at £3.40 for sizes up to six years old, £5.10 for ages seven to 10, and £6.80 for 11 to 12 year olds – meaning parents pay as little as £1.70 per jumper.
The Grey Woven Trousers with Reinforced Knees & Extendable Hem start at £5.95 for a pack of two, with sizes from three to 16 years. These trousers are stain-resistant, have reinforced knees to prevent rips during playtime, and feature permanent sharp creases for a smarter look.
Designed to grow with kids
The trousers are designed to grow with children, with hems that can be unpicked to add extra length and adjustable waistbands for all-day comfort. Similarly, Tu's Grey Permanent Pleat Skirts come with a stain-resistant teflon coating, permanent pleats, and an adjustable waistband, with a two-pack starting at £5.95 for ages three to 16.
Other retailers have also launched school uniform offers, including Marks & Spencer with a range of coloured uniform essentials, and Next offering multi-packs of shirts, trousers, socks, polo tops and shorts. However, Tu's 15% off sale provides a chance to save money, with the discount available until Monday.
