The Rixo x John Lewis collaboration has launched today, bringing a 44-piece party season capsule to the British high street. Priced between £65 and £525, the collection spans occasionwear, outerwear, knitwear, shoes and bags, drawing on the retailer's 19th-century archive.
Archive-Inspired Designs
The collection includes embroidered jackets, lace-trimmed floral dresses, faux-fur outerwear, fringed scarves and beaded bags. It offers fuller-coverage party dresses, playful minis and timeless knitwear, with bold embroidery and statement prints throughout.
Rixo, founded more than a decade ago, draws its prints from the 1960s and 1970s, while its cuts nod to the 1920s and 1930s. The label is known for signature bias-cut dresses and floral frocks popular with mothers-of-the-bride.
Standout Pieces
Key items include the Halley embroidered merino wool cardigan (£275), the Francie velvet halterneck maxi dress (£345), and a gold fringe scarf (£65). The Eslia velvet maxi dress (£345) offers fuller coverage with puff sleeves and a waist bow.
The Delphina floral print mini dress (£235) features frog-fastening detailing and bat sleeves, while the Carina floral print maxi dress (£445) replicates an 1849 John Lewis design. A cropped faux-fur trim jacket (£295) and the Trayce ruffle blouse (£215) round out the range.
