Primark is selling a new £8 cropped top that has shoppers feeling like they've stepped back to the early 2000s. The chocolate brown top features long sleeves, button detailing and a white lace trim, and has gone viral on social media after being showcased by TikTok user @chris_fairley.
In a video posted from Primark Liverpool, Chris gave a 360-degree look at the top, describing it as 'Elena Gilbert style'. The clip quickly racked up over 150,000 views and 16,000 likes within 24 hours, with many viewers saying they 'need' to buy it.
Fans commented: 'I neeed itttt', 'STOPPP I NEED THIS FOR FALL' and 'RUNNING so cute'. However, some shoppers expressed disappointment that the top is cropped, with one writing: 'Will they please make one of these tops but not cropped'. Another said: 'If they weren’t cropped I would be running to get those.'
The top is not currently listed on Primark's website, but the retailer offers other chocolate brown items including an Oversized Jersey T-Shirt (£10), Wide Leg Drawstring Leggings (£10) and a Belted Midi Shirt Dress (£20).
