Marks and Spencer shoppers are rushing to find the retailer's new summer ice cream sauces, which have been described as 'another win' for the popular store. The sauces, available in two flavours, have generated excitement on social media after being spotted in M&S Food Halls.
The new products are the Deliciously S'more-ish Ice Cream Sauce and the Cracked Shell Mint Choc Sauce, both priced at £2.75 for a 250g bottle. The S'more-ish sauce is described as a 'rich, chocolatey marshmallow sauce studded with crunchy biscuit pieces', while the mint chocolate sauce hardens when drizzled over ice cream, providing a 'satisfying crunch'.
An image of the sauces was shared by the popular Instagram account New Foods UK, prompting enthusiastic comments from followers. One user wrote: 'omg these sound incredible!! Love the packaging too another win for M&S', while another said: 'wow wow wow I NEED these in my life right now'.
M&S advises customers to shake the bottle well before use and, if the sauce thickens, to place it in warm water without submerging above the label. The sauces can be used on ice cream, in milkshakes, or for baking.
