Marks & Spencer has unveiled its highly anticipated Christmas food-to-order menu for 2025, and festive favourites are already disappearing from virtual shelves. The retailer, famed for its premium festive offerings, opened orders on 23 September, with a range spanning from show-stopping centrepieces to decadent desserts.
A Festive Feast: What's New on the M&S Menu?
This year's selection introduces several new items destined to become holiday classics. The dessert table gets a glamorous upgrade with a lemon and mascarpone panettone gateau, layered with mascarpone cream, lemon curd, and white chocolate curls. For a savoury starter, a Christmas sausage roll garland offers a shareable twist on a British staple.
M&S is also elevating the main event with a new range of luxurious wagyu beef dishes. Diners can opt for a whole wagyu sirloin of beef or a rich wagyu beef pie. Traditionalists are catered for with options like a slow-cooked turkey crown, porchetta, and leg of lamb, while vegetarians can look forward to a butternut squash, brie, and caramelised onion Wellington.
The Race to Order: Key Dates and Logistics
Shoppers are urged to act quickly, as popular items and side dishes are already selling out. Unlike some competitors, M&S does not deliver its food-to-order range. Customers must book a collection slot from their local store on 22, 23, or 24 December (23 December onwards in Northern Ireland).
Collection slots have historically been snapped up fast, so early booking is essential. M&S has not announced an official last orders date, emphasising the benefit of securing your menu choices well in advance to avoid disappointment.
Festive Showstoppers and Returning Classics
No M&S Christmas would be complete without a special appearance from Colin the Caterpillar. This year, he's been transformed into Christmas Cracker Colin, decorated with chocolate crackers and popping candy. The dessert lineup also includes a gluten-free chocolate yule log.
Among the starters, a brie en croute and a vibrant cranberry-topped pork pie are new for 2025. While many vegetable sides have already sold out, classics like goose fat roast potatoes and bacon-wrapped stuffing parcels remain available for now.
Once again, M&S has demonstrated its commitment to a memorable festive feast. With high demand expected and limited collection windows, planning your Christmas food shop early is the surest way to guarantee a stress-free and delicious celebration.
