Christmas is just under 80 days away, but getting organised early could save you serious cash. Supermarkets and high-street restaurant chains have already rolled out a range of early-bird festive deals, and there are a few festive freebies to be had too. Whether you want money off that big Christmas food shop, or a complimentary fizz for the office party, Metro has rounded up the best early Christmas perks.

Supermarket festive savings

Iceland is offering a Christmas bonus for those who load £100 onto a free Iceland Bonus Club account by November 5, bagging an extra £15 Christmas bonus. Added to the regular £1 bonus for every £20 saved, shoppers will end up with £20 in total free cash to spend on their Christmas feast. Customers need to sign up for the free Iceland Bonus Club to collect their money on the app, website or in-store.

Tesco shoppers can opt in to the Clubcard Christmas Savers scheme by 11.59pm on October 25, earning up to £12 towards their Christmas pot. Topping up between £25 and £49 earns an extra £1.50, while £50 to £99 gets £3, and £100 to £199 earns a £6 bonus. Anyone who adds between £200 and the maximum £360 gets £12 extra towards their festive shopping. Regular Clubcard and top-up vouchers remain valid for two years, whereas bonus vouchers expire after three months. Sign-up is available online or via the Tesco Grocery and Clubcard app.

Through the Sparks app, Marks & Spencer shoppers can unlock up to £15 in festive rewards across flowers, food, and café purchases through January 1, 2027. These include a £5 reward for spending £20 in the M&S Cafe, £5 for spending £25 on Delacourt Champagne, and £5 when buying flowers and plants online. The offers can be activated in the Sparks account, and shoppers must be signed up to the free Sparks loyalty scheme. Spending requirements and eligibility will apply.

Asda is helping shoppers build up their festive fund with the Asda Christmas Savings Card, securing a bonus of up to £15 when they save £280 by 5pm on November 15. Alternatively, earnings can be transferred into a Christmas Saver Cashpot via the Asda Rewards app to spend between November 20 and December 31. At least £30 must be saved to qualify for any bonus, with the amount increasing depending on the balance.

Restaurant early-bird offers

Prezzo is offering a voucher for 2027 when customers pre-book a group meal from the Christmas Party Set Menu (£23.95 for two courses or £28.95 for three) by October 31, for dining between November 10 and January 5. Small groups (1–9 people) get £25, parties of 10–19 get £50, and groups of 20+ get a £100 voucher for the lead organiser. The voucher will arrive by email the day after the meal and can be redeemed at selected Prezzo restaurants throughout 2027.

Zizzi is launching its 2026 Christmas menu, available from November 17 through January 4 starting at £24.95 per person. The chain is offering an early bird bonus for group bookings reserved by October 15 for dining visits between November 17 and January 3. Guests organising groups of 10 or more can claim a £30 voucher, while parties of 21 or more receive a £60 voucher by adding the code 'CHRISTMASGIFT' to their reservation notes. Vouchers must be used between January and March 2027.

Las Iguanas offers a set Celebration Menu with dishes like Festive Empanadas, Brazilian Bahian Curry, and Churros for £22.95 for two courses or £27.95 for three. The restaurant also offers a Festive Bottomless Brunch from November 10 to December 30, starting at £43.95 per person for two hours of unlimited cocktails, prosecco, or beer paired with a brunch dish.

Banana Tree is offering a Celebration Menu from November 10 to January 6, 2027, with dishes such as Mekong Prawns and Mango Rice Pudding for £23.95 for two courses or £27.95 for three, plus a welcome drink or non-alcoholic alternative.

Wagamama customers who book the festive set menu by October 15 (for dining November 18 – January 5 2027) can claim a free glass of Prosecco or non-alcoholic alternative. The Christmas menu costs £23 per person for two courses or £28 for three, available at participating restaurants in England, Wales and Northern Ireland.

Bill's is offering a three-course Christmas Set Menu for £29.95 when pre-booked and dined between November 12 and November 30. Blue Light cardholders get 20% off the à la carte menu plus a free glass of Prosecco. The Christmas Set Menu costs from £35.95 per person for Blue Light cardholders, with a maximum of 8 guests per one Blue Light code. All guests within the same booking must dine from the same menu, and offers cannot be used alongside other discounts.

ASK Italian is offering a 'Christmas Early Bird' festive menu for groups of six or more, with three courses for the price of two at £24.95, when dining between November 17 and December 6. The organiser can get a £30 voucher if the group is ten or more people, or £60 for parties of over 20, with vouchers sent the day after dining.

PizzaExpress has unveiled its Christmas menu deal, giving diners a starter and a main course for £20. Bookings are already open for festive get-togethers, corporate gatherings, and group celebrations.

Frankie & Benny's is launching its Christmas Celebration Menu, offering two-course meals from £21.50 and three courses from £25.50, with dishes like Cinnamon Bun Cheesecake.

Bella Italia has unveiled a set menu with two courses for £21.45 or three courses for £24.45, including dishes like Christmas Carbonara and Camembert Pizza. Guests receive a complimentary drink on arrival, choosing from Prosecco, Birra Moretti (and alcohol-free version), Aperol spritz, or a soft drink.

Rosa's Thai is serving a Festive Menu with unlimited prawn or pumpkin crackers, running from November 18 through January 31, with two courses for £26 or three for £29 per person for tables of two or more. Tables of eight or more must order from the Festive Menu.

TGI Fridays is offering a two-course set menu starting at £24.95 and three courses for £30.95. Bookings for 6 and over require a £5 deposit per person.

Days out, gifts and travel

Christmas at Kew, London's after-dark winter light trail, offers off-peak adult tickets for £29.50 (including a £1 booking fee) on dates like Thursday, November 19, compared to £37 on peak nights such as Saturday, November 21. Family passes (two adults, two kids) drop from £108 to £89 on off-peak dates, which include select midweek nights in late November and early December.

Butlin's is offering up to 20% off selected stays automatically on new bookings for all 2026 and 2027 breaks (excluding two-night breaks) until October 31. Qualifying breaks can be locked in with deposits from just £1 per person until October 14, plus up to 40% off dining plans and 10% off drinks packages while availability lasts.

Boots launched its rotating Christmas Star Gifts last week, offering discounts on top brands. Offers include a White Fox Vol 2. Tote Bag at £27, down from £55, a Mugler Alien Hypersense Eau de Parfum 60ml at £49.50, down from £99, and an Oral-B iO2 Electric Toothbrush 2-Pack Black & Pink with 2 Brush Heads and Travel Case at £54.99, down from £160. New deals drop regularly on a limited-stock basis.

Advance rail tickets typically go on sale 12 weeks before travel, meaning festive tickets are dropping now. According to Trainline, booking Advance tickets saves an average of 61%. Keep an eye out regularly, as festive engineering works can sometimes delay when certain operators release timetables.
