The price cuts are particularly noteworthy for premium cuts. Fillet steak sees a reduction from £50 per kilogram to just £40 per kilogram, meaning a 6oz fillet steak now costs only £6.80. Sirloin steak drops even more dramatically from £32 per kilogram to £21.33 per kilogram, bringing an 8oz sirloin down to £3.87 from its previous price of £4.84.
