Morrisons is launching a special promotion for England fans ahead of the World Cup semi-final against Argentina on Wednesday. The supermarket chain is offering a two-for-£19.66 deal on selected packs of beer and cider, a price point that nods to England's World Cup victory in 1966, exactly 60 years ago.
What the £19.66 Deal Includes
The offer covers 20 bottles of Budweiser, 18 cans of Strongbow, 18 cans of Carling, as well as multipacks of Cruzcampo, Kopparberg, and Stella Artois. Morrisons said: “Get match ready ... Score a winning deal, pick up two packs of your fave beers for £19.66.”

Morrisons is also running its £10 Match Day Meal Deal, serving four people for just £2.50 each, with savings of up to £14.75. The deal includes two mains, two sides, and a four-pack of drinks, described as “an easy, crowd-pleasing spread made for match-night hosting without the hassle.” Shoppers can choose from more than 1,800 combinations of mains, sides and drinks – enough to build a different ‘starting eleven’ every match.
The Pizza Counter Meal Deal offers two pizzas and one side for £10, saving up to £5.50. New limited-edition items include an American Hot Dog Stuffed Crust Pizza (£6) and Football Brownie Cups (£2.50). Also new is a Detroit Pepperoni and Hot Honey Pizza (£6), tapping into the viral ‘hot honey’ trend on FoodTok.
