Amazon has cut the price of Medicube's Zero Pore Pads to £12.30, down from £16.90, as part of a limited-time promotion on the K-beauty brand. The pads are designed to exfoliate and minimise pores, helping to combat breakouts and blackheads for a clearer, smoother complexion, according to the brand.
Why are the pads a viral hit?
The product has become a bestseller online, with more than 70,000 units purchased on Amazon in the past month alone. It has collected nearly 28,000 ratings, averaging 4.6 out of five stars. Each pad features a textured side to slough away dead skin cells and a soft side to hydrate and calm the skin.
The discounted price undercuts Boots, where the same pads are currently on sale for £16.11 as part of the chain's K Beauty promotion. For a cheaper option, Boots stocks its own Exfoliating AHA/BHA Pore Pads for £8, recommended for evening use two to three times weekly. Another alternative is the No7 Good Intent Pore Buff Clarifying Acid Pads at £14.95, which use salicylic, glycolic and lactic acids to reveal 'clean, refreshed and revitalised' skin, according to the brand.
What are shoppers saying?
Shoppers have been quick to praise the pads, with some saying the results were dramatic. One customer said their nose "hasn't looked this clear in years," explaining: "I've always had stubborn little blackheads around it that never seemed to budge. I tried nose strips in the past but they made very little difference.
