Louise Thompson has shared a packing solution that lets families cram more into their suitcases for holiday. The former Made in Chelsea star demonstrated her 'genius' device in an Instagram story, using SpaceAid Travel Vacuum Bags to shrink clothes down to almost flat.
How the vacuum packing hack works
In the video, Louise showed how the bags can be filled with armfuls of clothes and then compressed using a portable rechargeable pump. She said: “I’ve got this genius little device that I can’t wait to show you” before demonstrating how quick and easy the bags were to vacuum pack.
The pump can compress up to 90 bags per charge and fits in a suitcase or hand luggage, making it convenient to use when leaving holiday too. Louise showed how the bags got “...so small! And now we’ve got two very compact seals of swimsuit stuff.”

The SpaceAid Travel Vacuum Bags come in multiple sized packs, currently on sale during the summer holiday season. An 18-pack is now £26.99, down from £35.99, and a 27-pack costs £32.99, reduced from £45.99.
Each pack includes three different sized bags, allowing travellers to organise items efficiently. For example, swimwear and underwear can go in one size, bulkier items like trousers and dresses in another, and beach towels or toiletries in the third.
