The RH Gallery has opened at Burlington Gardens in Mayfair, uniting three historic properties into a single Palladian mansion. Inside, five levels are connected by a scenic lift and a grand dome-topped cantilevered staircase. The space displays RH's extensive product range across installations that exude quiet luxury. Refuel at the Perch, designed by Anoushka Hempel, or the Dining Room. Open daily 10am to 7pm, Sundays midday to 6pm.
New Fashion Boutiques
Réalisation Par's new London flagship at 95 Mount Street, W1, was designed by Sophie Baker Design, drawing on French and Italian modernist interiors. The boutique, with a tiger-print photo booth, has already attracted influencers. Meanwhile, LESTRANGE's concept store The Apartment at 68 Berwick Street, W1, designed by Tabitha Isobel, features timber panelling, curtains by Nordic Knots and vintage furniture.
Pop-Ups to Visit
Lorfords Contemporary is popping up at the Edward Bulmer Natural Paint townhouse on Pimlico Road, SW1, until August 15, showcasing its handcrafted sofas and armchairs alongside Lorfords Antiques. In Shoreditch, kitchen knife brand Allday Goods has partnered with Deya Brewing Company to open the Alldeya Arms, a pop-up pub at 72 Rivington Street over the August bank holiday weekend. The four-day takeover will offer a co-branded serrated knife, a bar knife, bespoke pale ale, and interiors decorated with antique furniture and vintage artworks.
New Interiors Brands
Meredith House (meredithhouse.co.uk) is a fabric and wallpaper studio founded by two sisters, inspired by their mother's homes in France and named after their late father. Its launch collection features 14 painterly floral and stripe designs rooted in the block print tradition. Arcove (arcove-london.com), founded by interior designer Isabella Worsley, offers textiles, wallpapers, mirrors and lampshades with timeless silhouettes.
Staycations and Dining
Cottage Orné near Looe in Cornwall offers cottages, a shepherd's hut and a manor house vibrantly decorated by Studio Alexandra. In the Cotswolds, Alcoves provides two artist-designed cabins on a working dairy farm near Broadway, clad in colourful corrugated steel, each with a two-person bath on the veranda and a communal sauna. Restaurant Isca at Borde Hill in West Sussex, designed by Nicola Harding, boasts a beautiful glasshouse and makes for a memorable day out.
Covetable Objects
Late Afternoon Home's debut collection of up-and-down lighters, christened Redonda, comes in chunky shapes in butter yellow and burgundy, handmade in Florence from £255 each. MG&Co's front door hardware includes knockers, pulls, letter box covers and door numbers made from solid unlacquered brass. Petra Palumbo has designed Delft tiles dedicated to leisure pursuits, capturing a tennis player mid-serve, a footballer about to strike and a golfer in swing, handpainted and starting from £27.50 each.
