Lidl offering 100 shoppers £600 free Middle Aisle spend

Lidl has announced it will give 100 lucky shoppers £50 a month to spend in store across an entire year, as part of a new loyalty reward scheme.

In a statement released this morning, the budget supermarket confirmed it is rewarding its most devoted fans with the "ultimate shopping flex" – the limited edition Middle of Lidl Blue Card. The scheme will see 100 winners receive £600 to spend on Middle Aisle products, spread over twelve months.

How the Middle of Lidl Blue Card works

Available solely to Lidl Plus members, the Middle of Lidl Blue Card is worth £600. It grants holders a full year to pick up Middle Aisle essentials, all completely free of charge.

There is, however, a "Lidl catch". To stand a chance of getting one of these coveted cards, shoppers will need to pass a high-pressure quiz to demonstrate they are a true Middle Aisle devotee. In the ultimate game of aisle-spy, superfans will need to distinguish their Leopard Print Kettle from their Kayak, and their Plushy Shark from their Wooden Toys to prove their fandom status.

Quiz and ballot details

Successfully identifying the genuine Middle of Lidl products from the imposters will earn shoppers entry into the ballot to win one of these one-of-a-kind cards. With just 100 personalised Middle of Lidl Blue Cards available, the competition is likely to be fierce.

Joanna Gomer, Marketing Director at Lidl GB, said: "We wanted to celebrate Lidl's biggest fans and give something back, so we created the Middle of Lidl Blue Card. Whether they're heading straight to the Middle of Lidl for the latest drop, know all the Lidl lore or make a regular trip to the MoL on Thursdays and Sundays, the card is our way of recognising the fans who make the Middle Aisle such a much-loved part of the Lidl shopping experience."

Lidl Plus members who fancy their chances can head to areyoualidlknowitaisle.co.uk between now and October 31 to put their knowledge to the ultimate test.
