Lidl is launching a new Silvercrest Hand-Held Steam Cleaner on Sunday, July 26, as part of its SpecialBuy deals. Priced at £19.99, the device is designed to clean, disinfect, and degrease surfaces without harsh chemicals.
What the Steam Cleaner Includes
The kit comes with seven accessories: an extension nozzle, an angled nozzle, an upholstery nozzle, a fabric cover, a round brush, an extension hose, and a measuring cup. The portable cleaner uses high-pressure hot water vapour to break down grease, remove dirt, and disinfect surfaces.
According to Lidl, the steam cleaner produces a powerful jet of steam for a deep clean, using no chemicals or cleaning agents. It can remove dirt thoroughly, even in hard-to-reach areas.
Mould and Bacteria Removal
The high temperature of the steam, typically above 100°C, kills mould spores and bacteria. The pressurised steam forces dirt out of small spaces such as tile grout. Lidl states the cleaner is suitable for shiny taps, basins, mirrors, tiles, upholstery, textiles, and steam-resistant surfaces like glass, ceramic, masonry, metal, and enamel.
Technical Specifications
The steam cleaner features an extra-long 4-metre cable, a heat-up time of three minutes, indicator lights, a safety lock, and overheat protection. It has a water tank capacity of 250ml and a steam pressure of 2.8–3.5 bar. The device comes with a three-year warranty and measures 28cm wide, 23cm tall, and 14cm long.
Precautions
Lidl advises against using the steam cleaner on unsealed wood or laminate floors, delicate fabrics like silk, cold glass, unpainted drywall, or surfaces painted with water-based paint, as high heat and moisture can cause damage.

Also launching Sunday is Lidl's W5 Spray Mop, priced at £7.99, described as ideal for tiles and smooth floors. It features a detergent spray function and an ergonomic handle with an integrated lever for easy spraying.
