Karen Millen returns to UK high street after 7 years

Karen Millen is making its return to the UK high street seven years after closing its physical stores, with a string of new concessions opening across the country. The British fashion favourite is heading back into bricks-and-mortar retail in response to customer demand, giving shoppers the chance to browse its clothes in person once again.

Rollout begins this month

Its collections will be available through stores operated by The Foschini Group (TFG), with the rollout beginning this month. The first Karen Millen concession opened at Fosse Park in Leicester on August 14. Two more locations are set to follow on Monday, August 17, with shoppers able to find the brand at Aberdeen's Union Square and Liverpool One.

Confirmed locations so far

  • Fosse Park, Leicester – August 14

Further locations are expected to follow as the high street comeback continues.

What shoppers can expect

Shoppers can expect a curated selection of Karen Millen clothing, with occasionwear and some of the retailer's bestselling pieces taking centre stage. There will also be a particular focus on its Forever collection, which includes "timeless garments" that have become "enduring bestsellers and signature pieces” for the brand.

Debenhams Group CEO Dan Finley said: "Karen Millen is a brand with real heritage, recognition and a loyal customer base, so bringing it back to the high street is a significant moment.

"Our customers want great fashion, but they also want to experience brands in different ways, and physical retail gives us another opportunity to do that.

"Working with TFG allows us to bring the Karen Millen signature craftsmanship and occasionwear to a new generation of customers, while building on the strength of a brand that has been part of British fashion for more than four decades."
