iPhone 15 and 16 Prices Drop with Sky Mobile and Amazon Deals

Apple enthusiasts are turning away from the iPhone 17 as prices for older models fall. Sky Mobile has introduced discounts on the iPhone 15, iPhone 16, and iPhone 16 Plus, offering nearly £50 off each handset over the contract term.

Monthly costs now start at £17 (down from £18) for the iPhone 15, £21 (down from £22) for the iPhone 16, and £24 (down from £25) for the iPhone 16 Plus. While the £1 monthly reduction may seem modest, it amounts to £48 in savings over the 12-month contract. Sky reports that the iPhones are 'in demand' and 'selling fast', with hundreds of customers snapping up the deals this week.

To secure the lower prices, customers must pay a £12 upfront fee. However, each contract includes only a 100MB data allowance, so users may need to opt for a larger package, such as 50GB for £12. Sky also notes that prices 'may change' during the minimum period, typically due to an inflation-linked increase each April.

Amazon is also cutting prices, removing £100 from selected models when bought outright. The iPhone 16 has dropped to £599 (was £699) and the iPhone 16e to £499 (was £599). For those interested in the latest model, Mobiles.co.uk offers free AirPods 4 with an iPhone 17 deal at £44.99 monthly and £9 upfront on an unlimited contract.

Sky has accumulated thousands of positive reviews on Trustpilot. One customer said: 'Good deal on iPhone, delivery prompt and kept well informed once order placed.' Another added: 'Got a very good deal on a new iPhone, straightforward application and quick delivery.' However, the same shopper noted: 'Only gripe is the bill breakdown on the app could be better.'
