The Hoover 200W Cordless Stick Vacuum is available for £116.10 on Yimbly after applying the code AUTUMN10 at checkout, a total saving of £68.90 from its £185 pre-sale price. The deal positions the vacuum as a budget-friendly alternative to premium models from Dyson and Shark.
Features and Savings
The vacuum includes a Mini Turbo Pet tool designed to lift pet hair from tough carpets, along with LED lights on the floorhead to reveal hidden dust and dual-sided traps that capture debris along both edges, useful for skirting boards and corners. These features put it in competition with higher-priced rivals.
For comparison, the Dyson V15 Detect, which offers 60 minutes of runtime and a Digital Motorbar, has a usual price of £699.99, now reduced by £200 to £499.99. Meanwhile, the Shark PowerPro Pet Vacuum is priced at £199 on SharkNinja, featuring Anti Hair Wrap technology.
Shopper Reviews
While no reviews are currently listed for the Hoover model on Yimbly, Amazon shoppers have praised it. One customer wrote: "It’s actually pretty good - charges quickly, picks up well - you do have to empty it quite often, but it’s more for smaller bursts of hoovering rather than doing the whole house. Lightweight, easy to manoeuvre. Its little headlights are handy too."
Another added: "I've waited a few weeks before reviewing and I can honestly say this the best vacuum cleaner I've had in years and such good value for money. It's light to use, has powerful suction and the tools are easy to put on and take off."
A third reviewer noted: "Through my work, I’ve used vacuum cleaners from many different brands, and this one genuinely surprised me. Compared with other cordless vacuums in the same price range, it offers an excellent balance of suction power, practical features, lightweight handling and overall ease of use. It performs far better than I expected and feels like a much more expensive machine than it actually is."
A fourth customer commented: "I am amazed that a vacuum at this price point performs just as well as those from famous brands. It has strong suction, is compact and lightweight, and the cordless design is incredibly convenient."
Battery Life Concerns
Some customers raised issues with battery life. One wrote: "Is a lightweight easy to use vacuum with easy to change attachments but the biggest let down is the battery life 40 mins on low power and on turbo struggle to make 10mins on a brand new fully charged battery what takes 3 hours to charge wouldn’t recommend for anything bigger than a flat."
Another added: "Works great, battery lasts 15 minutes at max power which is an issue, when I deep clean the house I need to get it recharged at least 2 times."
