Gola Green Elan trainers have been reduced from £90 to £59 at FatFace, saving shoppers £31. The offer beats competitors like JD Williams, Schuh, and La Redoute, which are still charging higher prices elsewhere.
Retro style with everyday comfort
FatFace describes the Elan as a low-top style inspired by Gola's heritage designs, combining a retro look with an everyday silhouette. The trainers feature a secure lace-up fastening and a flat sole, while the low-profile design gives them a classic retro feel.
The green colourway adds a pop of colour while still being easy to work into a holiday wardrobe. They can be styled with denim for an easy casual look, or worn with linen trousers, shorts or a summer dress for something a little more put together.
Other Gola and trainer deals
FatFace has also discounted another pair of Golas down to £57 from £85. The Gola Green Hawk 83 Trainers also have a vintage-inspired feel, with green stripes and a white finish.
Beyond FatFace, adidas has reduced some of its popular styles, including the Breaknet Sleek Shoes (£24.75, was £45), a classic white trainer with a contoured shape and sporty details. Nike also has a big sale on various trainers, including kids' shoes, such as the Nike Dunk Low shoes (£48.99, was £69.99).
Shopper reviews praise comfort
The Green Elan trainers have racked up positive reviews. One shopper shared: "I took my new trainers on holiday to Lisbon. Lots of walking and lots of hills. They were very comfortable."
Another said: "True to size! So comfy and have them in blue and green! Great trainer." A third added: "Comfortable and colourful trainers. I love them."
However, a shopper who bought the shoes via JD Williams noted: "Great colour, nice fit, just need to break them in more as they rub a bit on top of my toes when I walk." Another Gola fan said: "Great looking trainers. Definitely a retro vibe from them. Very comfortable to wear and I'd say they're true to size."
One more review via JD Williams praised: "Outstanding quality, neat design, a hard-wearing sole, with a sponge-like tongue. Ordered my usual size; no slipping or gaping around heel or toe. I would say an average width trainer and plenty of room in toe width."
