FACEGYM is set to open its doors at Liverpool ONE this December, bringing its signature facial workouts to the city. The brand, founded by Inge Theron in London in 2014, will be operated locally by franchise partners Hoosein Dadabhoy and Minesh Solanki through their company, Vivo Studios.
The pair already run a FACEGYM studio in Manchester and have committed to a five-store expansion plan spanning the North West, South West, and Wales. They believe Liverpool is the right next step.
Franchise Partners Bring Experience from Coffee and Telecoms
Hoosein, 57, told the ECHO: “Liverpool ONE has some huge brands coming through, and FACEGYM fits in very well. It’s a great city, one we’ve always been passionate about as football fans.”
Their journey into beauty began unexpectedly. The pair first met through consultancy work connected to an EE franchise. Before that, Hoosein had established a multi-site Costa Coffee franchise in 2007, which was sold in 2016.
Hoosein added: “FACEGYM came along and seemed like a great fit for our growth plans. It is quite a jump from telecoms and coffee, but it’s all about wellbeing, which is a great place to be in, as well as our own personal ambitions and aspirations.”
What to Expect at the Liverpool Studio
Minesh, 47, from Leicester, highlighted the brand's unique offering. He said: “FACEGYM is a non-invasive facial workout that gives your face cardio while also supporting lymphatic drainage. FACEGYM is designed for everybody. It’s not just for young people or women; it’s for all ages and genders, and for anyone who wants to look and feel great.”
He added: “When you come to the Liverpool space, don’t expect a spa, expect a studio. It’s going to be really vibrant, with great music and a real gym atmosphere. You’re getting a workout for your face, just as you would go to Barry’s or a traditional gym to work out your body.”
Founding Member Offer and Launch Details
To celebrate the launch, the first 99 people to sign up can become founding members for £62 a month. The offer includes one signature workout per month, with the price locked in for six months before increasing to £77 a month. A minimum two-month term applies.
The studio will be located at Liverpool ONE, with opening hours from 10am to 7pm Monday to Saturday and 11am to 6pm on Sundays. Signature workouts start from £110 for 35 minutes, with optional boosters available from £40.
Angelo Castello, CEO of FACEGYM, said: “Liverpool has been high on our list for a long time. It’s a city with incredible energy and a real love of beauty, so it’s the perfect next step as FACEGYM grows across the UK. We can’t wait to welcome Liverpool through our doors this December.”
