Shopper reviews
One Amazon shopper called it an "Ideal winter warmer" and said: "Silentnight is my go-to brand for bedding etc. and for very good reason. Quality, price, longevity are all strengths - this heated blanket is no exception. The material is a smooth-ish fleece which really complements the heating element. It's a really natural size to drape over the body and can easily cover more than one person. Most importantly, the heating works like a charm - it has nine levels, so you really can find the right temperature. It also heats up within a few minutes, which is ideal for me. Found the warmth helps joint pain for me, so that's an added benefit."
Another shopper said: "Really comfortable heated throw and perfect for keeping warm on colder evenings. The fleece feels soft and cosy, and it heats up nicely without taking too long. Easy to use and a good size for relaxing on the sofa. Very happy with it."
A third added: "This quickly became one of the most used items in the house and is apparently equally popular with both my partner and the dog. The fleece material is soft and comfortable, it heats up quickly, and the multiple heat settings make it easy to find the right temperature - whether you're just taking the chill off or trying to warm up properly on a cold evening."
Alternatives and criticisms
Some shoppers were more critical. One said: "Happy to have a nice, heated blanket, though I received the wrong colour from what I asked for." Another said: "Had it for a couple of months now. Heats up nicely. Quality is good at first, but after a few washes, it frays a bit. Good item overall. Still using it."
