Dusk shoppers can add a designer-inspired touch to their homes for less with a rechargeable lamp that doesn't need to be positioned beside a plug socket. The Anika Rechargeable Rattan Table Lamp is now available at £21.25, reduced from £25, using the code EXTRA15.
Measuring a compact 14cm wide by 30cm high, the lamp is designed to provide extra lighting without taking up too much surface space. Its rechargeable and cordless design means there's no need for a nearby socket while it's in use, and it can be easily moved around.
Charging and lighting features
The integrated LED takes around three hours to fully charge and provides up to six hours of illumination at full power. Light filters through the woven rattan shade to create a soft, ambient effect, while the gold-finish base adds a polished contrast to its natural texture.
The lamp is dimmable, allowing shoppers to adjust the brightness depending on whether it's being used as a cosy bedside light, on a shelf, or brightening up a reading corner.
Alternative options and customer ratings
A slightly more expensive option is the Rattan Ida Rechargeable Lamp with Natural Seagrass Shade for £128 from Mrs Alice, which also has a rechargeable cordless design and a woven rattan shade in either a natural hue or olive print. At Dunelm, the Ruri Rattan Table Lamp is available for £25, featuring a trumpet shape, a 'soft ambient glow', and a woven rattan design. The Khudi and Khora Raya Rattan Tall Table Lamp in natural is priced at £45, down from £89.99, thanks to a 50% off deal on Lighting Direct.
The Anika lamp has been rated highly by Dusk shoppers. One said: "I am so pleased with this cute lamp and love that it can be placed in places where I don't have an available socket, so it's very versatile and is very stylish to my current decor!" Another added: "Love these. Purchased two in the sale, charged quickly, looked stunning. Recommend especially if you are using it in the vicinity of other wicker furniture. Warm light, bright light or combination [of] all at the touch of a button."
Quality notes and availability
A third commented: "Excellent quality. Perfect for what I wanted to use in kitchen and outdoor dining." This buyer wrote: "The lamp is exactly as I expected. Looks good on any table or in any corner. Love it!" While there were no negative reviews, it might not be suited for task lighting as it has an ambient glow only.
The woven rattan shade is specifically designed to filter light through its natural weave to create a soft, cosy ambience. Because it utilizes natural woven rattan, there can be inconsistencies in the texture, colouring, and symmetry of the shade. Some buyers of similar rattan lighting have noted that the raw wood colour can sometimes look different in person, compared to highly styled studio photography. The Anika Rechargeable Rattan Table Lamp is available from Dusk.
