Dunelm shoppers can now save over £209 on a bed frame described as having a 'hotel style' luxury feel. The Alara Pleated Ottoman Bed Frame, Velvet features a pleated headboard and hidden storage underneath.
The bed is available in several colours and sizes, with the navy king size version reduced from £699 to £489.30. The sprung slatted base is designed to provide support and comfort, while solid wood legs add stability.
Dimensions and Assembly
For those with limited space, the Alara ottoman bed measures H 130cm x W 166cm x D 221cm. Full assembly is required, and Dunelm suggests two people to complete the job.
Customer reviews on the Dunelm website highlight the bed's quality and storage. One five-star review reads: "This is beautiful and having the ottoman storage as well. The navy velvet is very classy."
Shopper Feedback
A second shopper praised the bed's feel, saying: "Hotel style and luxury feel. Really nice quality once assembled, the headboard gives that hotel room chic. Good storage. Assembly tip. Remember the gas lifters will only go down with the weight of the mattress on them."
A third added: "Came on day we chose, husband put it together, easy to build, gorgeous bed very heavy to move once built, and loads of storage underneath." However, one shopper marked it down due to the ottoman mechanism, noting: "Very happy with the bed. Well made, solid feel to it. Only reason for not being five stars is the ottoman bed closes quite heavily, would've hoped it was more of a softer close. Besides that; a great bed and would definitely recommend."
