Dunelm shoppers are praising a new Teddy Bear bedding range that they say keeps them warm "without turning heating on." The homeware retailer's bedding, available in fitted sheets, duvet covers, pillowcases, and a mattress topper, starts at £15 for a single set and comes in a variety of colour options.
Five-star reviews highlight warmth
The Dunelm website describes the items as the "ultimate winter warm up that will banish away those chilly mornings." One happy shopper left a five-star review, writing: "Lovely, cosy, and warm. I am ready for the cold nights." While another wrote: "So cosy no heating required on when I was using it."
And a third added: "So warm and comfortable. When you first get into bed it feels as though you've had an electric blanket on. Keeps you warm and snuggly all night, no central heating required. Greatest buy ever."
Mixed feedback and alternatives
Not everyone was a fan, with a disappointed shopper writing: "Was great and fluffy for the first few weeks, but then went completely flat in the area where we sleep. Pillowcases are still fine. Disappointing as a cheaper supermarket one is still as good as when it was bought."
For those looking for an alternative to Dunelm, Next is also selling a Teddy Fleece Bed Set, with prices starting at £22 for a full single set. Similarly, Debenhams offers a number of options, including the Frill Edge Teddy Fleece Duvet Cover Set, currently at 40% off, with a double duvet costing £20.99 and a king-size at £23.99.
A third alternative is the Teddy Bear Fleece Fitted Sheet from The Range, at £17.99 for a double and £15.99 for a single.
