Dobbies Liverpool has opened its festive selection at the Speke store, with the company calling it its "best ever Christmas." The garden centre features five distinct collections catering for different Christmas themes.

Shoppers can explore five collections: classic Noel, North Pole, a country Christmas, winter wonderland and Christmas carnival. The store has brought in more than 18,000 artificial Christmas trees, 100,000 packs of baubles in various colours and finishes, 138,000 packs of string lights and over 500,000 individual decorations, with 400 different options available.
80% of range new for 2026
Kirsty Rockey, Dobbies' head of brand, said: "Our customers look forward to our Christmas shop opening each year, and this is set to be one of our best launches yet." She added: "With 80% of our Christmas range brand new for 2026, there are even more decorations, homeware and gifts to discover, alongside some fantastic festive deals."
Little Sprout to reopen in bigger space
Separately, the Little Sprout café at Premier Plants in Heswall is preparing to reopen in a larger space after closing temporarily last month. The venue, sister site to Sprout Kitchen Garden near Ellesmere Port, opened in 2024 and is expanding its brunch and sweet treat offerings.
In an Instagram update, Little Sprout said: "While Little Sprout has been closed for some very boring (but necessary) back-of-house fixes, we’ve also been busy working on something much more exciting. We’re building a bigger Little Sprout! Our new space is currently in the works, giving us more room to grow Little Sprout, expand what we can offer and build the team ready for our next chapter. We’ll be sharing plenty more about the new space over the coming weeks."
