Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4, the 23rd instalment of the franchise, launched this weekend and can now be bought for under £50 at GAME through a limited-time deal stack with TopCashback. The game carries an RRP of £74.98, but new TopCashback members who buy it at GAME before 11.59pm on Tuesday will effectively pay £49.56 including delivery once cashback is applied.
How the GAME and TopCashback deal works
GAME has reduced the price of the title to £64.99 as part of a launch promotion. In a three-day arrangement with money-saving website TopCashback, customers receive 10% cashback when they purchase the new title at GAME between now and 11.59pm on Tuesday. Shoppers registering as new TopCashback members will also receive £15 bonus cashback on their first £15 spend.
New members who head to GAME and buy Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 on any of the three platforms will effectively pay just £49.56 including delivery once cashback has been applied. To secure the deal, shoppers need to sign up as a new member of TopCashback, search for GAME and click ‘Get Cashback Now’, then shop and checkout as usual. Cashback will track and appear in shoppers’ TopCashback accounts within seven working days of purchase, and becomes payable after GAME has paid TopCashback the commission.
Alternative UK prices for the game
For those who prefer to skip the cashback deal, the lowest UK price for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 is at Argos, where it is available for £58.99 with click and collect, though home delivery costs an additional £4.95. On Amazon, the game costs £59.99 on Xbox and PS5, while the Nintendo Switch 2 version is priced at £69.99. AO offers it at £60 for standard customers, with AO Club members able to buy it for £56. Both Amazon and AO include free delivery.

What critics are saying
Modern Warfare 4 has achieved an impressive 91% rating on Metacritic based on critical reviews. Reviewers have been particularly enthusiastic about the campaign mode, which features sweeping battles and pursuits across Korea, New York, Paris and Mumbai, alongside large-scale assaults to reclaim occupied territory.
Critics have hailed the game as a welcome return to form. Digital Chumps called it 'the Call of Duty game we deserve' and a 'definitive series best.' Critic Ben Sheene explained: "As entries come and go, all with their own high and low points, Infinity Ward's newest and most ambitious effort in years won't go unnoticed and unappreciated. By paring down and expanding on what has made this franchise wonderful, fun, and permanent, players have a campaign that feels like a call back to years past."
PSX Brasil hailed it as offering 'an exciting campaign, truly engaging modes for both single-player and multiplayer, spectacular graphics and sound and the same precise and satisfying gameplay as always.' Reviewer Paulo Roberto Montanaro said: "It's undoubtedly the best game in the series in a decade and possibly one of the best CoD games of all time." Impulse Gamer praised it as 'the best single-played CoD campaign in years, with a fresh South Korean setting, diverse missions and high-octane combat.' Reviewer Nathan Misa said: "The game's overall variety in mission design, cinematic set pieces and full throttle pacing make for a very satisfying FPS experience and, for me, puts CoD right back on the map as a must-play for the story this year."
Available now on PS5, Xbox and Nintendo Switch 2, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 places players on the Korean Peninsula, where North Korea unleashes a full-scale invasion. A young unit of South Korean soldiers struggles to endure on the crumbling front lines, while Captain Price fights to remain off the radar on an unauthorised mission, evading pursuit from sinister forces. The deal at GAME via TopCashback remains the cheapest way to secure the title at launch, but only until Tuesday night.
