Ash and Kelsey, a Welsh couple who share their travels with 74,000 YouTube subscribers, decided to test Benidorm's cheapest all-inclusive hotel, the Sandos Benidorm Suites, during a half-term trip. They paid £333 for three nights for two people at the three-star hotel, which Kelsey considered a good deal given the peak season.
Room and First Impressions
Upon arrival, the couple noted the hotel looked better than surrounding buildings. Inside, they found a clean, white reception area. Their room on the 20th floor exceeded expectations, featuring a living room, a fully equipped bathroom, a desk, a sofa with TV, a large bed, and a free bottle of sparkling cider. However, the accompanying glasses were not as clean as desired. The highlight was the balcony with four chairs, offering views of Benidorm and the sea, though they noticed rubbish in the adjacent green area.
All-Inclusive Perks
With pink wristbands, they accessed free drinks, including local alcohol brands and 11 included cocktails. The all-inclusive package covered breakfast, lunch, and dinner at an international buffet, plus snacks and unlimited domestic drinks. Ash praised the variety: "There's enough options for everyone, good variety." After breakfast, he said, "As far as all-inclusive breakfasts go, I'd say that was pretty good."
Facilities and Location
The hotel offered entertainment areas, a large pool with sun loungers, a kids' pool and play park, plus various bars and restaurants. It is a 12-minute walk from Levante beach. Ash noted, "It is a three-star hotel, but it does have some pretty decent facilities," including nightly entertainment shows.
Verdict
The couple found the room "pretty basic" but modern and clean, with the balcony as their favorite feature. The only complaint was the single working lift. Despite this, they both said they would stay again, leaving happy and impressed.
