Canned Banana Bread Matcha by The Girls Bathroom duo reviewed

The limited-edition Banana Bread Matcha Latte, created by The Girls Bathroom podcast hosts Sophia Tuxford and Cinzia Baylis-Zullo in collaboration with PerfectTed, has been praised in a taste test as a strong, consistent flavour that is available exclusively at Tesco for £2.20.

Taste Test Highlights

Danielle Kate Wroe, a senior social news reporter, tried the canned matcha and gave it a solid 8.5/10, noting the evenness of flavour and general matcha taste. She described the banana bread flavour as strong yet subtle enough to let the matcha come through, and highlighted that it is not synthetic-tasting, unlike some other matcha flavourings.

Wroe, who had previously tasted matcha in Uji, Kyoto, during a tea ceremony, acknowledged that the canned version is "really good" for the UK market. She recommended shaking it gently and noted that it tastes even better over ice when working from home.

Availability and Pricing

The product is available exclusively at Tesco for £2.20, and Wroe suggested it is worth trying for matcha lovers. However, she warned that the collaboration will leave shelves in six months' time.
