Cadbury Dream, the white chocolate bar discontinued in the UK in 2002, has been spotted back on shelves at B&M, 24 years after its original launch.
The bar first launched in 2001 but was axed from the UK market just 12 months later. It continued to be sold consistently in countries including Australia, New Zealand, and South Africa.
Return to Home Soil
The white chocolate slab has occasionally reappeared in UK stores through imports over the years. Now the original is available again at B&M, priced at £2.99, just in time for Christmas.
It is unclear how long B&M will stock the treat.
Shopper Reactions
On TikTok, @rachaellouisewhitelaw called them 'unreal', while @lifeofbeesam described it as their 'childhood dream'. @tanyarichards1981 wrote: 'I grew up with these. Takes me back.' @mattinicocktailco added: 'I am addicted to these!' and @turquoiseazure exclaimed: 'Best chocolate ever!'
On Reddit, one user called the £2.99 price tag hefty but said it was worth it for the 'nostalgia'.
Nostalgic Wave at B&M
Cadbury Dream joins a wave of nostalgic treats returning to B&M's sweet aisle, including retro Cadbury Astros, which have been spotted back on shelves imported from South Africa after being discontinued in the UK in 2008.
