Boots has introduced a new own-brand skincare line, Habi, with every product priced at £7.50 or less. The range, which hit shelves earlier this month, aims to make effective skincare accessible without high costs or complicated ingredients.
The Habi collection includes eight products, from cleansers to serums, all vegan, cruelty-free, and dermatologically tested. Key ingredients like niacinamide, hyaluronic acid, and triple ceramides are typically found in more premium lines. The packaging is described as bold and playful.
The Habi Jelly Cleanser, containing green tea leaf water and allantoin, has received mixed reviews. While some users praise its gentle feel and effectiveness at removing makeup residue, others note it stung around the eyes and did not fully remove makeup. One shopper commented: “This felt very gentle on the skin and removed make up residue leaving my skin feeling nice and fresh.”
Another product, the Triple Ceramide Mist, is a lightweight spray suitable for sensitive skin. It can be used under or over makeup. One customer said: “It is very effective as it gives my skin a beautiful refresh.” However, some disliked that it is unfragranced, with one remarking it “just sort of smells like the container.”
The Glow & Hydrate Serum, featuring niacinamide and hyaluronic acid, has been hailed as a “new favourite” by some users. It absorbs quickly without feeling heavy, leaving skin hydrated and plump. Boots is also offering promotions, including a three-for-two deal, 10% off for Advantage Card holders, and bundles such as the hydrating edit.
