Bootle salon pleads for customer to return and pay £52 bill

A Bootle salon has asked a customer to return and settle the fee for her appointment after she allegedly left without paying. The owner of Nail Envy on Stanley Road says a woman visited the store on October 7 and mistakenly left without paying for her treatment.

A group of three women visited the store as a party for nail and eyebrow procedures. However, a spokesperson for Nail Envy claims one of the women, who wore a checkered coat during her visit, left the store without paying.

Owner's account

When it came time to pay, the owner claims the woman said she was leaving the salon to retrieve money, but never returned. The owner told the ECHO: "I told her she needed to pay right away. She took her bag and said she needed to get money."

The cost of the appointment, which was captured on CCTV, came to £52. After the woman allegedly failed to return, Nail Envy issued a public request on its Facebook page.

Public appeal

The post said: "Can you guys please help me to share this please. This woman come to my shop to get the nails and eyebrows done but she [did] not pay for that. Thank you so much for that everyone."

The owner suggested that, if the woman has made an honest mistake, she should visit the store and settle the bill, adding: "I feel so bad. I am working for my living too."
