Asda has introduced a new promotion offering shoppers a 5p per litre discount on fuel when they spend £40 or more in a single in-store transaction. The offer runs until July 31 and is redeemable at 321 participating Asda filling stations, including Asda Express sites with Asda-branded fuel, until August 7.
Savings for Families During School Holidays
The promotion is timed for the school holidays, allowing customers filling a typical 60-litre family car to save up to £3 on a single fill-up. The fuel coupon is automatically added to the Asda Rewards app once the shopping threshold is met, and can be scanned at the pump or kiosk alongside the Asda Rewards barcode.

The Grocery & Fuel Bonus runs alongside existing Asda Rewards features like Missions, which let shoppers earn money back on weekly shops. Asda plans to extend the fuel discount to more locations in the future.
Recent Wage Increase for Store Workers
The fuel promotion follows Asda’s announcement last week that it will increase hourly wages for store-based workers. Employees outside the M25 will receive £13.10 per hour, while those within the M25 will get £14.35 per hour.
