Asda has introduced its first-ever hot meal deal, available for £4, just 16p more than its standard meal deal. The deal includes a main, a side, and a dip, with choices for breakfast and lunch. It will be available at Asda's rotisserie counters, offering 30 options.
What's in the hot meal deal?
The deal is intended to provide customers with a “convenient and affordable alternative when on the move”, with a choice of 17 different main options, five sides, and eight dips. Breakfast mains include a sausage or bacon wrap (individually priced at £2), or a sausage and bacon wrap (£2.90). Lunch mains include spicy chicken mini fillets (£2.50), Chicago Town pizza slices (£1.48), BBQ ribs, Chinese drums, and Rowes pasties.
Sides include hash browns, skin-on fries, potato lattice, and sausage rolls (all £2). Dips include buffalo, garlic and herb, or piri piri (all 50p).
Availability and pricing
Rotisseries are mostly limited to larger superstores rather than smaller Asda supermarkets and Express branches. Asda does not release exact figures for participating stores, but there are supermarkets with rotisseries “across the country”.
“We know our customers are looking for convenient meal options that don’t compromise on taste or value, which is why we’re delighted to introduce our new £4 hot food-to-go meal deal,” said Stephanie Ashby, Asda rotis & food services buying manager. “From freshly made breakfast baps to pizza slices, spicy chicken fillets and crispy fries, there’s something for everyone to enjoy for breakfast, lunch and beyond! With plenty of mix-and-match combinations available, it’s a great-value option for shoppers looking for a hot meal on the move.”
Background
Asda introduced £4 meal deals in September 2025, replacing the previous three-for-two offers. In May 2026, the supermarket introduced a £5 premium meal deal, undercutting comparable offers at Tesco and Sainsbury’s.
