Argos cuts Samsung 58in 4K TV to £329 in early Black Friday deal
Argos cuts Samsung 58in 4K TV to £329 for Black Friday

Argos has launched its Black Friday 2026 sale early by reducing Samsung's 58-inch Crystal UHD 4K Samsung Vision AI Smart TV to £329, a price the retailer describes as its 'lowest price ever'.

The device, part of Samsung's 2026 line-up, is now cheaper at Argos than at Amazon or Samsung direct. While those retailers do not stock the 58-inch model, they sell the smaller 55-inch version for £349, making Argos the better value option.

Picture and sound features

The Crystal UHD TV is powered by Samsung's Crystal Processor 4K, which is said to deliver a clearer, crisper image with vivid colours compared with lesser models. It can also upscale non-4K content so viewers always see the best picture, while HDR powered by HDR10+ dynamically optimises each scene.

The TV includes a dedicated Football Mode that optimises the picture and sound specifically for watching matches. For gamers, Samsung's Motion Xcelerator provides a clearer image with smoother performance and less lag.

The Dynamic Sound Pack features Object Tracking Sound Lite, which follows the action on-screen from left to right for more immersive viewing, plus Adaptive Sound that tailors audio to suit what is on screen, from whispered conversations to action-packed blockbusters.

Software and streaming access

Running on the Tizen OS software, the TV offers easy access to paid streaming apps such as Netflix, Disney+ and Prime Video, as well as free-to-air content from BBC iPlayer and YouTube. Thousands of extra TV shows and movies are available to stream for free on Samsung TV Plus.

Another feature is Samsung's Vision AI Companion, which can provide answers to questions ranging from series recommendations to outfit ideas directly from the TV.

Alternative offers and customer ratings

Elsewhere, Amazon has yet to unveil its own Black Friday deals but already offers discounts, including £100 off LG's 50-inch QNED Evo MiniLED AI 4K Smart TV at £549 (was £649). That model uses MiniLEDs behind the screen for contrast and brightness, while Dynamic QNED Colour Pro technology delivers more rich and accurate colours.

Sky lets customers spread the cost of its Sky Glass TVs with monthly plans from £7 for the Sky Glass Air and £14 for the Sky Glass Gen 2. To secure these prices, shoppers must also sign up to a Sky package from an extra £15 per month.

Argos customers have awarded the Samsung 58-inch Crystal UHD TV a 4.2-star rating after almost 100 reviews. One reviewer said: "This has to be one of the best TVs I've purchased. The picture is superb, the sound is quality and the set up and ease of use is very good."

Another said: "A lot of bang for your buck. This far exceeded my expectations for picture quality especially." The same reviewer noted the sound may not suit everyone, adding: "Without a soundbar maybe the speaker volume is a bit lacking at the top end if you want loud, but I couldn't recommend it enough."

A third said: "Beautiful product, excellent picture quality and fabulous Argos value." Another happy customer said: "Great picture quality and menus, browsing through apps and settings are so easy to navigate."
