Argos has cut the price of the Ninja Stay Sharp 5 Piece Knife With Knife Block from £169.99 to £101.99 as part of a Black Friday deal, offering shoppers a saving of £68 on the best-selling set.
The set includes five essential kitchen knives along with a built-in sharpener housed in the storage block, allowing blades to be restored with a few swipes whenever needed. Each knife is forged from rust-resistant metal with a solid construction, and the half-bolster handles are designed for a comfortable grip during slicing, dicing and chopping.
What the set includes
The collection comprises a chef's knife, slicer knife, bread knife, paring knife, and utility knife, covering tasks from carving meat to slicing vegetables and cutting through crusty loaves. The sharpener sits neatly in the block, keeping blades ready for everyday use without separate tools.
The compact block keeps everything organised on the worktop and comes with a ten-year manufacturer's guarantee. The sale of this item is restricted to persons aged 18 years and above.
Shopper reviews and alternatives
The Ninja knife set has accumulated over 2,000 reviews from shoppers, with a star rating of 4.9 out of five. One shopper said: "Replaced a very old set of blunt knives. These are brilliant and razor sharp. Very well balanced and nice to use."
Another review read: "Had these a few weeks now and I'm so glad I bought them. The best knives I've used, made me realise how bad my old ones were. Definitely worth the price, you won't regret buying these!"
A third fan said: "The best knives I have ever had. Very sharp and great to use." A fourth shopper added: "Fabulous set -best I've had in fifty years of marriage. Every knife you could need."
Not all feedback was positive, however. One review noted: "Sharpener hit and miss, the blade doesn’t always line up with the knife and then get stuck. For the money it costs I wouldn’t expect that."
For those seeking a cheaper option, a Six Piece Kitchen Knife Set on Amazon has been reduced to £30.67, made of high carbon stainless steel and described as 'rust-proof'. Separately, Argos has also slashed the price of a Ninja Foodi FlexDrawer AF500UK 10.4L Air Fryer to £209.99 from £269.99, with two compartments that can cook meals for up to eight people.
