With Amazon Prime Day 2026 now just a day away, deal season is well underway. The four-day shopping event officially begins on 23 June, but early discounts have already appeared across popular categories including coffee machines, electric toothbrushes, cordless vacuums, cooling fans and Apple AirTags.
Prime Day has evolved into one of the biggest dates in the shopping calendar, rivalling Black Friday for both scale of discounts and product range. From now until Friday, I'll be monitoring the latest offers, separating genuine deals from marketing fluff, and highlighting the discounts worth adding to your basket.
Amazon has confirmed the event runs from 23 to 26 June, making it one of the earliest Prime Day sales on record. While the full line-up is yet to be revealed, Amazon has teased deals on top brands, trending products, and exclusive items. Based on previous years, strong savings are expected on Ghd straighteners, Apple headphones, Oura rings and robot vacuums.
Among the best early deals, the AirPods 4 – dubbed “excellent” by tech expert David Phelan – are reduced by a third. The Oral-B iO3 electric toothbrush, recommended by dentists, is discounted by more than 60 per cent. A Lego set for Lord of the Rings fans has £65 off, while the Ghd chronos max straighteners are reduced by 27 per cent (though may drop further during the sale).
Other notable discounts include a Shark bagless vacuum cleaner at over 30 per cent off, a eufy robot vacuum with £300 off, and a Garmin Venu smartwatch at a reduced price. The PS5 DualSense controller is down by eight per cent, with further drops expected as the event nears.
