Aldi confirms return of £39.99 heated throw that costs pennies to run

Aldi has confirmed the return of its popular Kirkton House Heated Throw, which costs less than 2p an hour to run. The budget supermarket's winter warmer will be priced at £39.99 and is expected to hit stores towards the end of November as part of the Specialbuys range.

The throw was a hit with shoppers last year, who praised it as a cost-effective way to stay warm without cranking up the central heating. Some customers on social media described it as a “bingo” purchase following Martin Lewis’s advice on heating yourself, not the home.

Unlike some previous versions, this year’s model will not include sleeves. As with all Specialbuys, stock will be limited and once sold out, it may not return.

For those who cannot wait, Amazon offers a similar product: the Navaris Electric Blanket with Sleeves at £65.99. Other affordable options include the Lomitech Electric Foot Warmer (£32.99) and Ocoopa Rechargeable Hand Warmers (£25.99).
