Aldi is releasing its new Ambiano 12L Midi Dehumidifier this Sunday, October 18, as part of its refreshed Special Buy range of 'Home Heating Essentials'. The £44.99 device is designed to accelerate indoor laundry drying while helping to prevent mould and condensation.
As temperatures drop, many households will be drying washing indoors. While a tumble dryer may seem convenient, it can quickly increase monthly electricity costs. Using a clothes airer can cut energy consumption, but it often leads to longer drying periods and a greater risk of mould and condensation if not managed properly.
How the gadget improves laundry drying times
The device is engineered to protect properties against excess moisture while also speeding up drying times. Traditional indoor air-drying can leave garments damp for several days, raising relative humidity and increasing the likelihood of structural dampness, condensation, and mould growth.
