According to Aldi, the RapidCool system prepares formula milk at the perfect temperature in just two minutes, operating without sound. The twin pack comes in blue, pink, or neutral designs and is described as easy to set up and clean, with no replacement filters needed. NHS Heat Safety Advice for Babies
The NHS cautions that babies and young children can become seriously ill during hot weather, suffering from dehydration, sunburn, heat exhaustion, or heatstroke. To protect infants, the NHS recommends keeping babies under six months out of direct sunlight, dressing them in lightweight clothing, and using a parasol or sunshade on pushchairs. It warns against covering prams with blankets, as this can lead to overheating. For babies over six months, sunscreen with UVA and UVB protection should be applied frequently.
Parents are advised to check on their babies regularly to ensure they are not getting too hot. The NHS also recommends using freshly boiled water to prepare bottle feeds, in line with its guidelines.
