Aldi has introduced a new budget-friendly blender in its Specialbuys range, the Ambiano High Speed Blending Set, priced at just £19.99. This 11-piece kit is being compared to the popular Nutribullet 900, which retails for £99.99, offering a saving of £80 for shoppers. The gadget is available in three colours—cream, black, and blue—and will only be in stores while stocks last.
Features and Performance
The Ambiano blender boasts an 800W motor with a high torque base and stainless steel blades, designed to grind, blend, and create various dishes. It includes three different cup sizes for customising blends, along with lids and lip rings for on-the-go use, such as morning smoothies or post-workout protein shakes. The set also comes with a recipe booklet for inspiration, and practical features like non-slip feet, a safety lock, and overheat protection to prevent damage.
Compared to the Nutribullet 900 10-piece kit, which costs £99.99, Aldi's version offers a longer warranty of three years versus two years. However, the Nutribullet includes two large cups for portability, while Aldi's set only includes one. Despite this, the supermarket's blender is seen as a near-identical purchase at a significantly lower price.
Seasonal and Versatile Use
The blender is suitable for year-round use, from creating frozen summer treats to comforting soups in colder months. As Scotland braces for another heatwave, Aldi's gadget can help make healthier frozen favourites to keep cool. The supermarket emphasises that the product is available only while stocks last, urging customers to act quickly.
Other Kitchen Gadgets in the Range
Alongside the blender, Aldi's middle aisle also features the return of the Combi Zone Air Fryer, a 9L device priced at £49.99. This is a cheaper alternative to the Ninja Max 9.5L, which originally retails at £229.99 but is currently on sale for £179.99. The air fryer includes one large drawer that can be split into two 4.5L compartments with a divider, along with 10 pre-set programmes.
Additionally, the Ambiano Ice Cream Machine has launched for £69.99, using 'smoothify' technology to create creamy consistency by finely shaving ingredients. This gadget is another dupe, saving shoppers £130 compared to the Ninja Creami at £199.99. The ice cream machine is also self-cleaning.
Aldi's Ambiano High Speed Blending Set is available now for £19.99, offering a budget-friendly option for households seeking a versatile blender.
