Aldi has invested a further £100 million to cut the price of 330 products across its UK stores, helping to support families through the school holidays. The retailer said shoppers can now enjoy even lower prices across everyday essentials, including fresh and frozen food, cupboard staples, household essentials and personal care products.
Price reductions across hundreds of items
Aldi said the latest cuts mean it has reduced the price of more than 1,000 products so far this year, representing a total investment of £300 million in keeping grocery bills as low as possible. Specific savings include 80p on some British steaks: the 21-Day matured sirloin steak is now £4.49, and the 21-Day matured ribeye steak is now £4.59.
Savings have also been applied across fruit and vegetables, including 40p off Aldi’s four-pack Nectarines and 22p off Honeydew Melons. Aldi’s Specially Selected range of Cheddar cheeses (350g) is now £2.99, saving shoppers 40p. Families can also save 30p on everyday favourites such as diced chicken breast (600g, now £3.99) and filled pasta (now £2.19). For those heading on holiday, Aldi’s Lacura SPF50+ sensitive lotion is now £2.99, reduced from £3.29.

We’re committed to keeping prices low on popular products because we know it can make a real difference, helping families to make the most of the summer.”
Aldi has been named Which? Cheapest Supermarket for five years running and for eight consecutive months. It was also recently named ‘Best Value Brand of the Year’ by Which?. The supermarket recently announced the return of its Summer Support Scheme, giving away £50 shops to families every day throughout July and August.
