Aldi is bringing back its popular Wooden Sandpit, priced at £39.99, as part of a new range of summer Specialbuys landing in stores from July 16. The supermarket expects the item to sell out quickly, following record sales of its Wooden Toy Collection in May, when some items sold through by 83% in a single day.

The Wooden Sandpit comes with two wooden benches and an adjustable canopy offering UV50 protection to keep sand dry during unpredictable British weather. Other items launching on July 16 include the Sand & Water Table (£19.99) for sensory play, Water Spray Guns (£3.49), and a Disc Launcher (£9.99).

A larger Rechargeable Mushroom Lamp (£7.99) is described as a convenient lighting solution for outdoor tables. The outdoor collection also includes decorative string lights and lanterns in various colours.
