Aldi has expanded its Lacura beauty range with a new summer fragrance that promises a luxury-inspired scent for a fraction of the price. The Lacura Golden Solstice Eau de Parfum arrived in stores on July 26, priced at £6.99 for 100ml.
Inspired by the feeling of a tropical getaway, the fragrance opens with soft floral notes before developing into creamy coconut and warm amber. Aldi says shoppers could save more than £68 compared with Estée Lauder's Bronze Goddess Eau de Parfum, which retails for £75 for the same size.
Returning fragrance and hair care
Alongside the new launch, Aldi is bringing back its popular Lacura Elara Eau de Parfum, also priced at £6.99. The returning fragrance blends amber and delicate florals with a warm vanilla base and is positioned as an affordable alternative to Cosmic by Kylie Jenner, which sells for £57, offering a saving of around £50.
The fragrance launch coincides with the return of Aldi's Wonder Haircare range, including styling products, shine sprays, serums and masks designed to smooth frizz and boost shine. Both fragrances and the Wonder Haircare collection will be available in Aldi stores from July 26, while stocks last.
LED beauty tools
Also in stores this week are a new LED hairbrush and LED face sculptor. The LED Hairbrush costs £12.99 and uses red LED light and gentle vibrations to help stimulate the scalp for healthier-looking hair. The LED Face Sculptor, also £12.99, uses the same technology to tone and lift the skin.
Aldi's returning LED Wand (£12.99) is designed for tackling specific blemish-prone areas with precision. Also back by popular demand, the Aldi LED Face Mask (£12.99) features seven different light settings and claims to help reduce the appearance of fine lines, redness and inflammation.
