I Tried a £9 Beauty Box and Fell in Love with the £22.50 Lip Product Inside
£9 Beauty Box Reveals Fave £22.50 Lip Liner

Jada Jones, Content Commercialisation Editor, tried the OK! Beauty Box Effortless Everyday Edit, which retails for as little as £8.99 but contains products worth over £95. The box includes six items, four of which are full-size.

Perfume Highlight: Commodity Milk Orchid

Jones was particularly drawn to the Commodity Milk Orchid perfume, a 2ml luxury sample worth £5. The fragrance was co-created by @Perfumerism and features milky notes like fig milk, macadamia milk, and coconut cream, alongside vanilla and cotton. Jones described it as a delicate floral gourmand and loved it immediately, despite initial concerns about it being too creamy for a heatwave.

Favourite Product: Delilah Lip Liner

Jones's favourite item is the Delilah Lip Line Long Wear Retractable Lip Pencil in shade Vixen, worth £22.50. The twist-up design eliminates the need for a sharpener, and the shade works as a nice nude tone. The pencil also includes a sharpener at the base.

Skincare and Makeup Experience

Jones, who has dry skin, found the Warda Hyaluronic Acid Serum effective in keeping her face hydrated. She created an easy makeup look combining Glow Recipe's Watermelon Glow Niacinamide Hue Drops Tinted Serum, bareMinerals Gen Nude Dew In One Cheek & Lip Stick, and the lip products from the box, finishing with the Beauty Crop setting spray, which she praised for its travel-friendly size.

While the tinted lip balm was pinker than her usual preference, Jones considered it a worthwhile gamble for the box's price. She noted that subscribers pay £15 for the Effortless Everyday Edit, and each bundle is worth at least £80, making it good value and suitable for gifting.
