A Lotto ticket bought in Lewisham, London, has won a jackpot of £5,844,340, but the winner has yet to come forward. The ticket matched all six main numbers in Round 1 of the draw held on Sunday, September 26.
Winning Numbers and Claim Deadline
The winning numbers were 22, 27, 38, 42, 47, 59, with the Bonus Ball 31. The National Lottery is urging anyone who bought a ticket in Lewisham for that draw to check their tickets.
The lucky ticket holder has 180 days to claim the prize, until March 25, 2027. Anyone who believes they have a genuine claim but no longer has the original ticket can apply in writing, but must do so within 30 days of the draw.
More Millionaires Made
In the same draw, three other players each matched five main numbers and the Bonus Ball, winning £1 million each. Last month saw four Lotto jackpot winners, including this latest mystery winner, bringing the total number of Lotto millionaires created so far this year to 140.
A special £12m Must Be Won draw is scheduled for this Saturday, offering more chances for players to become millionaires.
Appeal to Check Tickets
Andy Carter, Senior Winners’ Advisor at Allwyn, operator of The National Lottery, said: 'Somewhere, someone is holding a Lotto ticket worth more than £5.8million and may not even realise it yet.'
'It’s an incredible thought, and we’re urging everyone who played Lotto in Lewisham for the draw on September 26 to check their tickets carefully.'
