Vogue Williams and Spencer Matthews sell flat for 'forever home'

Television personalities Vogue Williams and Spencer Matthews have marked a major milestone in their family life, having successfully sold their first marital home and secured their dream "forever" property in London.

End of an Era in Battersea

The couple have finally offloaded their luxurious Battersea apartment, which was initially listed for a staggering £5.25 million two years ago. After a series of price reductions totalling £1 million, including a final cut of £450,000 earlier this year, the flat sold for £4.25 million.

In a recent episode of her YouTube vlog, Vogue, 38, emotionally confirmed the sale, calling it "the end of an era." The apartment held significant sentimental value as the first home they shared after just six months of dating and the place where all three of their children—Theodore, seven, Gigi, five, and Otto, three—were born.

The Dream House and Major Renovations Ahead

The sale has paved the way for their next chapter: a period property in London, purchased back in June. Vogue described it as their genuine "forever house," drawing parallels to a dream home they own in Howth, Dublin.

However, fans will have to wait to see the finished product. The family won't be moving in for at least 18 months due to extensive renovation work. The couple and their children are currently living in a rental property nearby to maintain stability for the kids' schooling.

Vogue revealed her degree in quantity surveying is proving invaluable for the project, helping to manage the budget and rein in Spencer's more extravagant ideas. "It will still be the dream house but it will just be within our budget," she explained.

A Glimpse Inside the New Project

During the vlog, Vogue offered a tour of the new acquisition, highlighting original period features like fireplaces, cornicing, and ceiling roses. The property also boasts a large garden, which they plan to clear of some mature shrubbery to create a spacious lawn for their children.

The move concludes a long search for more space, with Vogue having previously noted that their stylish apartment, spread over two floors, no longer worked for their young family. While they continue to own and enjoy their Irish home, their work commitments necessitate a significant base in the UK capital.
