Major Blaze Erupts in West London
A significant fire has engulfed a warehouse and retail complex in Southall, London, sending a vast plume of black smoke over the city's skyline. The London Fire Brigade was alerted to the incident on Bridge Road shortly before 9 am on Tuesday 25 November 2025.
Scale of the Emergency Response
The fire service has deployed a massive contingent to tackle the blaze. Over 150 firefighters and 25 fire engines are currently at the scene. Crews have been called in from Southall, Heston, Ealing, and surrounding fire stations to assist in the operation. The initial building is reported to be three-quarters alight.
Fire Spreads and Reports of Explosions
The situation escalated when the fire spread to a second warehouse. Social media footage from the area shows intense flames and thick, black smoke, with witnesses reporting hearing what sounded like explosions.
Authorities have issued a direct warning to local residents due to the immense amount of smoke produced by the fire. People living in the area are strongly advised to keep their doors and windows closed to minimise exposure to the poor air quality.
